What this playlist covers

Neso Academy Computer Networks Interview Preparation Playlist by Neso Academy runs to 135 videos across 15 sections: Introduction & Basics, OSI & TCP/IP Model, Networking Tools & Devices, Physical Layer, Data Link Layer & Framing, Error Detection, Network Performance and Flow Control & ARQ Protocols, plus 7 more. Tick each video off as you finish it — progress is saved in this browser, and syncs across devices once you sign in. Nothing here is gated and there is no signup to start.

The deepest networking course here by a distance, and lopsided towards the parts exams test rather than the parts interviews ask about.

Who it is for

Someone sitting GATE or a university networking paper, or anyone who wants subnetting to genuinely click. For interview prep alone it is more course than you need.

How to work through it

  1. 01Introduction & Basics (13) and OSI & TCP/IP Model (6) — the framing everything else hangs off.
  2. 02IPv4 Addressing (11) then Subnetting (22). This is the strongest stretch in the course and worth the time even if you skip elsewhere.
  3. 03Data Link Layer & Framing (10), Error Detection (7), Flow Control & ARQ (12), Multiple Access (9) — the classic exam core.
  4. 04Ethernet (8), Wireless (9), VLAN & Spanning Tree (3) as needed.
  5. 05Network, Routing, Transport & Application Layers (5) last — and plan to get transport-layer depth elsewhere.

What it does well

  • 22 videos on subnetting alone. Nothing else here comes close, and subnetting is the networking topic people most often fake their way through.
  • Animation and pacing are genuinely excellent — the flow control and ARQ sequence in particular.
  • 135 videos means almost nothing in an undergraduate syllabus is missing.

Where it falls short

  • The top of the stack gets 5 videos total. Routing, transport and application layers share one section — and TCP, HTTP and DNS are what interviewers actually ask about.
  • 135 videos is a semester, not a week. If you have an interview in ten days this is the wrong playlist.
  • Exam framing throughout. Great for marks, less directed at 'explain what happens when I type a URL'.

What to pair it with

  • Gate Smashers Computer Networks — Better balanced for interviews — 11 transport-layer videos and 10 on the application layer, where this course has 5 between everything.
  • Interview question banks — Check a section stuck before moving on, rather than at the end of 135 videos.
