Where is my progress stored?

In your browser's localStorage by default — nothing leaves your machine, but clearing site data or switching browsers loses it. Sign in with Google and it syncs to your account instead, so it follows you across devices. Either way, use the export on this page to keep a backup.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Every feature works without an account, and your progress is saved in this browser either way. The one thing you give up by staying signed out is syncing across devices — sign in with Google whenever you want that.

Where do the platform numbers come from?

Directly from each platform, fetched server-side and cached for 15 minutes. LeetCode uses its GraphQL API, Codeforces its public REST API, HackerRank the REST endpoints its own profile page uses, and GeeksForGeeks the JSON embedded in your profile page. GitHub uses the REST API plus the public contributions fragment. Everything goes through one route so caching and error handling live in one place.

Why does my LeetCode contest rating not show?

LeetCode only returns a rating once you have attended at least one rated contest. If you have attended contests and it is still blank, check that the username is the one in your profile URL (leetcode.com/u/<username>), not your display name.

Why is my Codeforces solved count different from what the site shows?

We count distinct problems with an accepted verdict from your last 10,000 submissions. If you have more than 10,000 submissions, very old solves may be missing. Codeforces' own profile page counts the same way but over your full history.

How accurate is the contest calendar?

Accepted Answer

Codeforces rounds come live from the official API, so they are exact. LeetCode, CodeChef and GfG run on fixed weekly cadences, so those are generated locally from a known anchor contest — correct in normal weeks, but a platform can move or skip an edition without us knowing. Always confirm on the platform before relying on a start time.

Do contest reminders send me a notification?

No — a reminder marks a contest so it stands out on the calendar and appears starred on your dashboard. There is no email or push, because that would require an account and a server.

What counts toward my streak?

Accepted Answer

Ticking any problem, question or aptitude item as done. The streak counts consecutive days with at least one tick, and today never breaks it until the day is over.

What is the difference between the checkbox and the star?

The checkbox means solved — it feeds your progress, streak and analytics. The star means 'come back to this', and the Bookmarked filter on every sheet shows only those. Star anything you solved with a hint or took too long on.

How should I use the weakest-patterns list?

It is sorted by completion percentage, so the top row is the pattern you have done least of. Pick from the top rather than solving whatever looks interesting — the interesting ones are usually the ones you are already comfortable with.

What is a custom sheet good for?

Accepted Answer

The highest-value list you can build is 'problems I got wrong'. Add a problem the moment you fail it, then revise from that sheet instead of restarting a 450-question list. Custom sheets count toward the dashboard and analytics like the built-in ones.

Is the leaderboard global?

Accepted Answer

No, and deliberately. You add the handles you want to compare against, and it ranks them on live data. A private board with five people you actually know is motivating; a global one with a hundred thousand strangers is not.

Which sheet should I start with?

If you are starting from zero, work through the 22 DSA Patterns sheet in order — it is ordered so each pattern builds on the last. If you have an interview in under a month, go to Company Wise DSA and do that company's sheet instead.

How many problems do I actually need?

Around 150 well-understood problems beats 500 skimmed ones. Aim for a 20% easy / 60% medium / 20% hard split, which the Analytics page tracks against your actual numbers.

Which platforms can I link?

LeetCode, Codeforces, GeeksForGeeks, HackerRank and GitHub all pull live stats. CodeChef and CodeStudio can be linked too, but both sit behind bot protection that blocks automated reads, so for those we store the handle and give you a working profile link without stats.

Can I use this offline?

Mostly. Every sheet, question bank and note works offline. The profile dashboard and leaderboard need network access, and the contest calendar falls back to generated schedules when Codeforces is unreachable.
