What this playlist covers

Hello Interview HLD Interview Preparation Playlist by Hello Interview runs to 29 videos across 2 sections: System Design Interviews and Deep Dives. Tick each video off as you finish it — progress is saved in this browser, and syncs across devices once you sign in. Nothing here is gated and there is no signup to start.

The most structured HLD playlist here — a repeatable framework for the round, plus component deep dives to back it up.

Who it is for

Someone who freezes at the start of a design round and needs a procedure. Also the best option if your problem is structure rather than knowledge.

How to work through it

  1. 01System Design Interviews (17) — this is the framework. Requirements, estimates, API, high-level design, deep dive, in that order every time.
  2. 02Practise the framework on one problem until the sequence is automatic before moving on.
  3. 03Deep Dives (12) as the follow-up — individual building blocks at the level a strong candidate gets pushed to.

What it does well

  • Explicit, repeatable structure. Most HLD content shows you a finished design; this shows you the order to build one in.
  • The 12 deep dives go past 'use a cache' into when, which, and what breaks — which is where the interview actually goes.
  • Recent, and it reflects how these rounds are currently conducted.

Where it falls short

  • 29 videos is a small library next to a full course; it assumes you know the components already.
  • Framework-heavy, which helps until it becomes a script. Interviewers notice recitation.
  • Company-agnostic — it will not tell you what a specific company weights.
