What this playlist covers
Coder Army LLD Interview Preparation Playlist by Coder Army runs to 39 videos across 3 sections: OOPs & Fundamentals, Design Patterns in LLD and Real-World LLD Projects. Tick each video off as you finish it — progress is saved in this browser, and syncs across devices once you sign in. Nothing here is gated and there is no signup to start.
A low-level design course, not a system design one — 22 videos of design patterns aimed squarely at machine coding rounds.
Who it is for
Anyone with a machine coding or LLD round: Indian product companies, and most senior backend loops. If your round is 'design Twitter' rather than 'write the classes for a parking lot', you want an HLD playlist instead.
How to work through it
- 01OOPs & Fundamentals (6) first. LLD is applied object orientation and the patterns will not land without it.
- 02Design Patterns in LLD (22) — the core of the course. Strategy, observer, factory, decorator and the rest, each with the problem it solves.
- 03Real-World LLD Projects (11). Parking lot, Splitwise, and the other standards. Attempt each before watching.
What it does well
- 22 videos on design patterns is real depth — most LLD content covers five patterns and moves on.
- Patterns are introduced through the problem that motivates them rather than as a catalogue, which is what makes them stick.
- The 11 project walkthroughs are the exact problems machine coding rounds reuse.
Where it falls short
- No concurrency coverage. Machine coding rounds ask about thread safety and this course does not address it.
- No high-level design — no sharding, no CAP, no load balancing. Different interview.
- Watching a parking lot design is not the same as writing one in 90 minutes. The projects need attempting, not viewing.
What to pair it with
- Code With Aryan LLD — Overlapping material with a SOLID-principles opening and 14 project implementations.
- Kunal Kushwaha OOP — The design-decision grounding that makes patterns make sense.
- Gaurav Sen HLD — The other half of system design, if your loop has both rounds.
