Who it is for

Someone who already knows the building blocks and now needs to see how 45 minutes is actually spent. Watching this before learning the fundamentals mostly produces anxiety.

How to work through it

  1. 01Core Concepts & Architecture (12) first if you are shaky — but if you are, Gaurav Sen's fundamentals are a better starting point.
  2. 02Full Mock Interviews (29) is the substance. Do not binge them.
  3. 03For each one: read the prompt, spend 30 minutes designing it yourself, then watch. Watching without attempting first wastes the format.
  4. 04Interview Preparation Guides (3) once you have watched several and can see what the strong candidates have in common.

What it does well

  • 29 mocks is a genuinely unusual resource — most channels post two or three.
  • You see the things no explainer covers: how candidates open, how they handle a pushback, what they clarify before designing.
  • Interviewers are working engineers at the companies people are targeting.

Where it falls short

  • Only 12 videos of actual concept teaching. This is a supplement, not a course.
  • Mock candidates vary in quality, and it is not always flagged when one goes wrong. Watch critically.
  • Some is promotional for a paid product. The mocks themselves are unaffected.

  • Hello Interview HLD — 12 deep dives into individual components, for the parts the mocks skim.
  • System design sheet — Attempt the problem before watching the mock — the tracker is how you keep honest about which you have actually tried.
